Novolex is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for the wrap shift (Nights, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, 2-2-3). The position requires knowledge of GE-Fanuc, Allen Bradley, and Siemens equipment, with a focus on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs to optimize equipment performance.

The role emphasizes reading blueprints, repairing mechanical and electrical components, and ensuring safety and efficiency in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Packaging equipment experience is desirable.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
• Maintenance technicians should have their own tools; company provides specialty tools as needed.
• Proficiency with computers is a plus.
• Strong initiative and good communication with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical wiring and electronic controllers.
• Disassemble and replace defective components (bearings, motors, servo motors, PLCs, gears, drives, clutches).
• Perform preventive maintenance checks as required.
• Work from blueprints, drawings and layouts.
• Repair equipment to meet productivity and waste-reduction goals.
• Monitor equipment and report issues to supervision.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Maintenance Specialist II- Wrap available shift: Nights 7:00AM to 7:00PM 2-2-3 Schedule

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• As a Maintenance Technician you will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical wiring and electronic controllers is necessary.
• As a Maintenance Technician you will tear down; replace defective component units and parts such as bearings, motors, servo motors, PLC's, gears, electronic drives, clutches, brakes, belts, chains and electrical parts.
• Maintenance Technician's perform all preventive maintenance checks, as required.
• Works from specifications on blueprints, drawings, and layouts.
• Repair equipment to maximum efficiencies, which meet or exceed productivity improvements and waste reduction requirements.
• Continuously monitor equipment and communicate to supervision all equipment problems or concerns.
• Follows safety rules and keeps work area in a clean and orderly condition

Qualifications:

• Maintenance Technician candidates should have 3+ years of Maintenance experience within a manufacturing organization.
• Prior Injection Molding or Extrusion, preferred.
• Must have High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Packaging Equipment is desirable.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems and machinery
• Must be able to read blueprints.
• Maintenance Technicians should have own tools; company will provide additional specialty tools if necessary.
• Proficient with Computers is a plus.

• Good communication skills are required to interact with Supervision and other Departments.
