Job summary

Texas Health Frisco is seeking a Maintenance Specialist I to support routine and specialized building repairs for hospital facilities, with responsibilities across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and related trades.

The role requires a high school diploma, 3+ years in industrial environments, and a preference for healthcare setting experience and relevant certifications. This full-time days position offers growth within Texas Health.

Qualifications

  • H.S Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • 3 Years in commercial or industrial environment required.
  • 1 Year healthcare environment preferred.
  • 3-5 years of HVAC, Boiler, equipment pumps, plumbing, and electrical experience with a license preferred.
  • General Maintenance Skills preferred.
  • Driver License Upon Hire required.
  • Other Healthcare Maintenance Certification Upon Hire Preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide routine and specialized building repair and maintenance support for hospital, hospital equipment, and hospital properties using the computerized maintenance management system.
  • Performs the duties of skill trades such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, general maintenance, mechanical, HVAC, and exterior maintenance as required.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to facility staff in repair and operation of facility equipment, components, utilities, and the like.
  • Participate in hospital and departmental safety programs, education opportunities, and related training.

Texas Health Frisco, 12400 N. Dallas Parkway, Frisco, Texas 75033

Work hours:

Full-Time, Days, 40 hours weekly, 7:00am - 3:30pm. Rotating on-call will be for a week, and some weekends may be required.

Qualifications - External
Here’s What You Need:
  • H.S Diploma or Equivalent required

What You Will Do
