UNMH Jobs in Albuquerque is seeking entry-level Facilities Maintenance staff to perform standard facility and ground maintenance, carpentry and electrical repairs, under rotating shifts. This role supports department operations and adheres to hospital policies.

No patient care tasks are involved. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, and a valid NM driver's license with UNM Vehicle Operator's Permit within 60 days.

Qualifications

• Essential: High School or GED Equivalent.
• Nonessential: Vocational or Technical.
• Education specialization: Related - Post High School.
• Essential: 1 year directly related experience.
• Essential: Valid New Mexico Driver's License.
• Essential: UNM Vehicle Operator's Permit within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• MAINTENANCE - Perform a variety of standard facility and ground maintenance duties to assigned area; replace light bulbs, electrical outlets, switch covers and other related items
• MAINTENANCE - Monitor, trouble shoot and repair/adjust thermostats and facility systems as required; request qualified personnel for repairs as appropriate
• RESPONSE TEAMS - Participate in Fire-Brigade-Response Team and child abduction programs; participate in annual competency reviews, tests and in-services
• ASSISTANCE - Assist other department personnel as needed
• RELATED WORK - Perform related duties and responsibilities as required

Physical Conditions
