The role responds to unplanned work orders to quickly bring equipment back to production, troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and control systems during runtime and downtime to support continuous improvement.

The position requires a high school diploma, 3+ years in manufacturing maintenance, and proficiency with MS Office and SAP.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems; English reading/writing.

Responsibilities

• Respond to unplanned work orders to quickly bring equipment back to production status.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair controls, electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Work during runtime and downtime while driving continuous improvement.
• Inspect equipment for wear and damage and close out work orders.
• Collaborate with System Technicians to improve system performance.
• Train associates new to the area and cover shifts as needed.
• Comply with Mars Petcare quality, food safety, and regulatory standards.
