Job summary

Sweet Candy Company is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to optimize upkeep and keep production running safely and efficiently on Day Shift (Thu–Sat and every other Wednesday). You will lead a team of technicians, collaborate with Production, QA, and Sanitation, and report to the Maintenance Director.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and continuous improvement with strong leadership across shifts and a focus on equipment performance and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-year industrial maintenance technical training or related certification.
• Bachelor or Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology or related preferred.
• 7+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the maintenance team across all four shifts.
• Schedule and train maintenance staff for day shift (Thu–Sat) and every other Wed.
• Coordinate with operations, QA, and Sanitation under the Maintenance Director.
• Ensure reliable equipment through preventive maintenance planning and execution.
• Manage spare parts and alignment with store room.
• Work with outside vendors, subject matter experts, and trainers as needed.
• Conduct annual performance reviews and set growth goals for direct reports.
• Oversee attendance policies and timekeeping for direct reports.
• Provide safety incident response and participate in emergency evacuation sweeps.
