Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in utilities management are a plus.
• Prior experience in a utility operator role or similar is preferred.
• Strong understanding of utility systems and equipment operation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team in a dynamic environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
• Willingness to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and perform maintenance.
• Respond to outages or malfunctions and troubleshoot to restore service.
• Maintain records of operations, usage data, and safety inspections.
• Collaborate to ensure safety protocols and environmental regulations.
• Assist in training new staff on utility operations and safety.
• Participate in emergency drills and aid in plans development.
