The Office of State Parks (OSP) serves the citizens of Louisiana and visitors by preserving and interpreting natural areas of unique or exceptional scenic value, planning, developing, and operating sites that provide outdoor recreation opportunities in natural surroundings, preserving and interpreting historical and scientific sites of statewide importance, and administering intergovernmental programs related to outdoor recreation and trails.
This position is located at Black Bear Golf Course, part of Poverty Point Reservoir State Park in Delhi, LA. The purpose of this position is to perform essential duties that maintain the quality, appearance, and safety of the facilities and grounds of the golf course. This position will make repairs to and maintain buildings, facilities, equipment, etc., as well as ensure the safety of the guests and staff, and assist as needed with maintaining grounds such as mowing, pressure washing, green maintenance, etc.
One year of experience or training in the building construction trades, building maintenance, maintenance or repair of mechanical equipment, or park operations and grounds maintenance; OR
