Job summary

Austin Pickle Ranch in Austin, TX seeks a maintenance technician to keep our facility and equipment in top condition, ensuring safety and quality. Flexible up to 32 hours per week; shifts vary 6am–11pm, seven days a week.

The role requires basic trades knowledge, tool use, and the ability to handle repairs, with opportunities to grow mentorship and professional development within the community-driven pickleball venue.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Post-secondary vocational/technical training in electrical engineering is desirable.
• One year maintenance experience in an institutional or business setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair plumbing fixtures, furniture, woodwork, electrical systems, appliances, elevators, ventilation systems, and building structures.
• Maintain the air conditioning, refrigerators, and ice makers.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance (PM) required by facility's PM procedures.
• Repair small motors.
• Attend staff meetings as required.
• Complete other appropriate assignments.

• Knowledge of and ability to perform required role during emergency situations.

Licenses and Special Requirements

• Will be required to get First Aid/CPR/AED andSafeSport training

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
• Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
• Able to meet and perform the physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment which is typical of this position.
• Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping and pulling.
• Frequent repetitive motions.
• Continuous standing and walking.

Work Schedule:
