Job summary

United Land Services seeks a Maintenance Production Manager to oversee maintenance operations for a commercial landscaping portfolio. You will schedule resources, direct crews, and support Account Managers in customer service, estimating, and budgeting.

Responsibilities include coordinating materials, personnel, equipment, and subcontractors while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across sites. Immediate start and competitive pay with benefits are offered.

Qualifications

  • Solid knowledge of equipment, tools, and machinery needed for landscaping operations.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Excellent time management skills and a strong sense of urgency.
  • Computer skills.
  • Safety leadership skills.
  • Minimum of five years of progressive maintenance landscaping industry-related experience, including at least two years of leadership experience.
  • Valid driver’s license required, as this role may involve driving between job sites and operating company vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Understand client needs through regular communication with the Account Manager.
  • Ensure that job site quality and appearance meet client and company standards.
  • Manage all landscape services, including coordination of materials, people, equipment, and subcontractors.
  • Inspect properties prior to scheduled service and prepare specific action plans.
  • Monitor irrigation systems, identify problems or repairs, and communicate recommendations.
  • Identify insect or disease problems in the landscape.
  • Perform hands-on work with crews to meet work and scheduling demands when necessary.
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to safety, equipment upkeep, storage, use, and training.
  • Work with the Account Manager to identify staffing needs, hire new crew members, and prepare daily crew schedules.
  • Complete paperwork for all employee changes and hires.
  • Communicate with, counsel, train, discipline, review, and develop growth plans for employees.
  • Provide hands-on training and support of crew members, including proper operation of equipment, pruning techniques, safety, and quality standards.
  • Monitor safety records and focus on safety standards.
  • Order materials as needed and monitor costs and deliveries.

Our services include landscape design and installation, irrigation, hardscapes, and ongoing maintenance, with a focus on providing reliable, high-quality service to our customers.
