CloudTen Residential in Reno, NV is seeking a Maintenance Porter to keep models, vacant apartments, and public areas clean and presentable. You will assist the Maintenance team with repairs while ensuring compliance with state laws.

The role supports the Maintenance Technician and Supervisor and requires basic English for resident communication. Salary is hourly, with DOE as listed.

Qualifications

• 1 year property management experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• General maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning products and supplies.
• Organizational skills with attention to details.
• Ability to read, write and understand basic English.

Responsibilities

• Perform property maintenance, including preventative and emergency tasks under supervision.
• Maintain the property in a presentable condition (offices, clubhouses, laundry rooms, amenities).
• Assist with moving furniture or debris from model, tour, and vacant units.
• Complete maintenance requests within 24 hours and notify residents/management of delays.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance (lighting, fire safety, pools, signage, sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash).
• Represent the organization professionally in all interactions.
• Promote CloudTen Residential in communications and outreach.

About this role:

The Maintenance Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of community models, vacant apartments, and public access areas for current and prospective residents. The Maintenance Porter assists the Maintenance Technician and Maintenance Supervisor in general maintenance and repairs while ensuring compliance with State laws and regulations.

Hourly Pay Range:

$18.00 - $20.00 DOE

What you’ll do - Includes but are not limited to:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform property maintenance, including preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and emergency tasks under general supervision
• Maintain the property in a presentable condition including; cleaning offices, clubhouses, laundry rooms, and all other public access or property amenities
• Assist with the removing of furniture or debris from model units, tour units, and vacant units
• Assist and complete maintenance requests within 24 hours, notifying residents and management when there may be delays
• Complete monthly preventative maintenance, including lighting, fire safety, pools, signage, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal
• Represent the organization professionally in all interactions.
• Assist in promoting CloudTen Residential.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 1 Year Property Management Experience Preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent;
• General Maintenance Experience Preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning products and supplies.
• Organizational skills and the ability to pay attention to details as required.
• Ability to understand, read and write, basic English to effectively communicate and respond to common inquiries from current and prospective residents.
