Job summary

MAT Industries Inc. in Jackson, TN, is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee preventive maintenance and MRO inventory at the Jackson facility.

You will collaborate with production, quality, engineering, and management to improve overall facility effectiveness and report to the Maintenance Manager. The role requires leadership of maintenance staff, budget awareness, and hands-on coordination of CMMS, safety initiatives, and capital projects to support reliable production operations in a

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree a plus.
Must have 5+ years in facilities management, manufacturing, or maintenance planning.
Experience coordinating and supervising maintenance personnel in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Maintain preventive maintenance program and develop continuous improvements to reduce downtime and increase uptime.
Improve and maintain CMMS to ensure inventory accuracy and timely PM work orders.
Manage capital projects using structured methods for optimum investment decisions and project delivery.
Develop and implement plans to improve safety, appearance and cost effectiveness of operations.
Monitor budgets to stay within company goals.
Control MRO inventory and reduce waste in issuing items from tool crib.
Oversee building/grounds maintenance and material handling equipment maintenance.
Supervise utility and janitorial personnel.
