The ideal candidate has five years of facilities planning experience, strong knowledge of MS Office, CMMS, and asset management, and a bachelor’s degree in engineering or management.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience in facilities planning/scheduling.
• Experience planning and scheduling the work of hourly employees using CMMS systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Visio, Outlook); working knowledge of SharePoint.
• Knowledge of commercial HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems and equipment.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills; excellent verbal and written communication.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or management.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, coordinate and assign maintenance activities for a team using CMMS.
• Optimize maintenance inventory by balancing workload to labor availability.
• Manage asset maintenance parts ordering and PM auto-ordering where applicable.
• Collect data with operations to optimize maintenance programs.
• Maintain CMMS data integrity and standardization; audit records.
• Track asset information, spare parts and documentation; arrange tools/equipment.
• Provide weekly reports to facility managers and identify risks with resolution plans.

This industry standard role provides more efficient means of managing facilities maintenance and associated maintenance labor, freeing hours for additional business priorities. Planning & scheduling for all maintenance and operations encompassed in the CMMS tool are to be conducted using current CMMS system application and standardized business processes.**What is your day to day?*** Using industry and client best practices, Plans, schedules, coordinates and assigned all frequency and work type maintenance activities for group or team of responsibility* Optimizes maintenance inventory by balancing work load to labor availability* Complies with all client CMMS standards and specifications to ensure database integrity and standardization* Manages asset maintenance parts ordering process (MRO) for assigned team(s) and optimizes efforts through PM Auto ordering where applicable + Creates all asset-related purchase requisitions* Collects data and collaborates with operations team to optimize maintenance programs.* Maintains maintenance record compliance to CMMS and Maintenance business process standards and specs through periodic data auditing* Maintains liaison with facilities technicians and other management regarding work execution, necessity of altering schedules and manpower status* Tracks all asset information, including spare parts and documentation + Arranges for special tools and equipment + Tracks all asset information, including spare parts, documentation and Booked Labor* Continuous improvement of the work planning and scheduling process through the review and use of maintenance metrics, analysis of work order flow, project demands and expectations.* Submits and document database record changes using client CMMS change request system* Regulate Critical Environment facility management services to prevent business impact and equipment downtime.* Establish objectives and processes required to maintain critical infrastructure at optimum performance.* Identify open, unscheduled and/or unassigned work by running prescribed work order query in Assignment Manager* Provides weekly reports to facility managers, identifies risks and gaps and provides resolution plans.* Builds object structure in CMMS.* Develop/maintain and update standard operating procedures for CMMS/Storeroom operations.**Demands and Work Environment -*** Physical ability to walk jobsites in uneven terrain.* Provide personal transportation for meetings and job visits away from the office; reimbursed.* Requires ability to make routine physical visits to jobsites, customer events in construction and other environments.**Desired experience and technical skills -****Required*** Five (5) years of experience in facilities, requiring strict planning and scheduling protocols for operations and maintenance.* Experience in planning and scheduling the work of hourly employees using CMMS systems* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Visio, Outlook); working knowledge of Sharepoint* Knowledge of commercial HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems and equipment* Client service-oriented attitude* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Strong organizational and prioritization skills* Advanced computer skills**Preferred*** One (1) year+ of experience in a Critical Environment* Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering or management* Experience with SQL or Oracle* Experience with report writing or generating softwareThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
