Job summary

Turner Staffing Group is seeking a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler for a mining client in Clayton, Idaho. The role focuses on maintenance planning for mill and process equipment, including restart support and establishing sustainable work practices.

The ideal candidate will have strong SAP S/4HANA experience, rigorous planning and scheduling capabilities, and the ability to align labor, materials, and permits before work begins. Rotation: three weeks onsite, one week remote.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency with SAP S/4HANA in a maintenance/work management environment.
• Experience creating, implementing, and maintaining maintenance strategies in SAP.
• Solid knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling concepts and best practices.
• Experience working within an established work management environment.
• Ability to develop detailed, execution-ready maintenance plans and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Review, prioritize, plan, and develop maintenance work orders in SAP S/4HANA including labor, parts, tools, and resources.
• Develop weekly and daily maintenance schedules with operations and contractors.
• Ensure materials, permits, isolation plans, tools, and personnel are available before work begins.
• Manage maintenance backlog and identify opportunities to improve readiness and efficiency.
• Track schedule compliance and maintenance performance indicators.
• Coordinate with project teams to schedule self-perform work.
• Verify job plans, estimate labor hours, and develop planning standards.
• Create and deploy maintenance strategies within SAP.
• Support continuous improvement of planning, scheduling, and SAP data quality.
• Communicate priorities and schedules to site operations and stakeholders.
• Participate in job and safety planning to ensure compliance with site requirements.
• Generate reports and provide regular status updates on upcoming work and resource use.
