Job summary

Astemo Ltd. in Georgia, Monroe, USA, is seeking a Maintenance Planner to organize preventive and predictive maintenance for mechanical, electrical, and automation equipment.

You will develop daily to long-term schedules, prioritize work, and coordinate with production, engineering, and quality teams to minimize downtime. The role emphasizes reliability, RCA and FMEA activities, CMMS leadership, and safety compliance, with strategies to optimize asset performance and reduce maintenance costs;

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 3-5+ years of maintenance planning experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies.
• Experience with CMMS platforms (SAP PM, Maximo, eMaint, Fiix, or similar).
• Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and reliability tools (RCM, RCA, FMEA).
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and equipment manuals.
• Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule maintenance for mechanical, electrical, and automation equipment.
• Develop daily, weekly, and long-term maintenance schedules.
• Prioritize work orders based on risk, production needs, and asset criticality.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with production, engineering, and quality teams.
• Lead predictive maintenance (PdM) initiatives and analyses.
• Maintain asset condition dashboards and reports on equipment health.
• Support CMMS administration and data integrity.
• Identify opportunities to reduce maintenance costs through reliability improvements.
• Ensure safety instructions, permits, and lockout/tagout in all jobs.
