Job summary

Techo-Bloc seeks a detail-driven Maintenance Planner for our Rock Island, IL facility to keep equipment running and production on schedule. You’ll build maintenance plans, manage PM/CM programs, and coordinate with vendors and production teams to optimize uptime.

Strong organizational skills, knowledge of ERP/MRP, and experience with MS Office and maintenance software are essential. This role requires safety-minded teamwork across shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing maintenance planning.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Must be able to operate a forklift, man lift and other industrial equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, D365 and Microsoft AX (highly preferred).
• Purchasing and vendor management
• High level knowledge of electrical and mechanical parts
• Excellent planning and execution skills
• Be an excellent communicator
• Ability to work under pressure and with others for a common goal

Responsibilities

• Build maintenance schedules and generate work orders across all shifts.
• Own the preventive/corrective maintenance program and keep it optimized.

• Manage vendor relationships — sourcing quotes, technical documentation, and pricing.
• Forecast and manage parts inventory (MRP) so the team always has what it needs.
• Estimate labor and parts costs, and adjust plans when equipment breaks down.
• Prepare purchase requisitions/POs and support parts room operations.
• Occasionally assist outside normal hours for urgent needs.
• Required to support other sites remotely.
