Job summary

Centrus Energy is seeking a Maintenance Planner to manage the CMMS, develop detailed work packages, and coordinate with engineering, operations, and scheduling to ensure safe, efficient maintenance execution across the site.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, asset records, and procurement of parts, with emphasis on compliance and quality in a nuclear environment. This position reports to the Centrus Energy facilities operations team.

Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or equivalent technical experience.
• 3+ years of maintenance-related experience in an industrial or military environment within the past 8 years.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a “Q” clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support the CMMS, creating and updating preventive maintenance tasks and asset records.
• Develop detailed work packages with materials lists, permits, and supporting documentation.
• Identify and procure replacement parts and coordinate with Operations, Engineering, and Scheduling to keep activities synchronized.
• Track maintenance KPIs and assist with procedure development for safe, compliant work execution.

What You Will Do

You’ll manage and support our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS),creating and updating preventive maintenance tasks, surveillances, and assetrecords. You’ll research work orders, perform walkdowns, and develop detailedwork packages containing materials lists, instructions, permits, and supportingdocumentation. You’ll identify and procure replacement parts, buildresource-loaded maintenance schedules, and coordinate closely with Operations,Engineering, Work Week Schedulers, and Production Support to keep activitiessynchronized. You’ll also help track maintenance KPIs, assist with proceduredevelopment, and contribute to safe, compliant, and efficient work executionacross the site.
