Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the Maintenance Planner is responsible for minimizing total expensed cost by maximizing workforce and resource capabilities through prioritizing, planning and scoping of maintenance work orders in the safest and most efficient manner possible at the Los Pote Area Texas sites. Mechanical and rotating equipment background preferred.
The facility assets include 2-HyCO/Syngas plants, an Air Separation Unit, and a Liquid Hydrogen unit. These units provide a variety of industrial gas products to Air Products extensive array of customers through various pipelines and truck loading stations. A background in maintaining pumps, mechanical seals, vessels, filters, strainers, exchangers, piping, relief valves, gear drives, and reciprocating and centrifugal compressors or turbines is essential for this position. The Los Pote Area facilities are 24/7 operations, and candidate must be willing to work extended hours as required.
In this position, you will assist in backlog reviews and prioritization of activities along with the Maintenance Supervisor and assist in developing work scopes as well as estimating cost related to labor, materials, equipment and special tool requirements to complete the job in a safe and cost-effective manner. You will be expected to drive as well as participate in all aspects of the company’s safety and reliability programs, culture and constantly interface with all site personnel, contracted crafts, equipment suppliers, tool rental providers, engineering, and functional support services.
