General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Pipefitter in Seattle, WA. The role requires 1–3 years of pipefitting experience, a high school diploma or GED, and technical training where available.

The candidate will read blueprints, measure and fit piping, braze copper/CUNI pipes, and perform quality checks while following safety procedures. Travel and onsite responsibilities are expected as part of a broader effort.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of related pipefitting experience.
• Braze qualification (CUNI) and copper/face feed (GDIT) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Applies basic pipefitting processes to join, surface, fabricate, repair, or replace piping systems.
• Works from blueprints, engineering sketches, charts, or work orders.
• Uses measuring tools and related equipment to target and fit piping.
• Sil-brazes cuni pipe.
• May inspect completed work for conformance to specifications.
• Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Participates in special projects, as required.
