Essential Functions

The function of Maintenance Personnel is to perform equipment maintenance and repair as directed by the Maintenance Manager. Maintenance personnel receive authority from and report to the Maintenance Manager.

Job Description

Position Title: Maintenance Personnel

Location: Ennis, TX

Reporting to: Maintenance Manager

Role And Responsibilities

• Report to work on time and clock in/out at the beginning and end of the shift.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities as specified by Benoit’s Maintenance Program.
• Troubleshoot and repair company equipment including motors, conveyors, sand blasters, paint stenciling equipment, and various other threading equipment.
• Perform light welding repair and fabrication as needed to plant production equipment.
• Conduct basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting to various equipment to solve problems.
• Identify mechanical and operational issues and take corrective action to keep equipment operating in a safe and efficient manner.
• Work independently and with little to no supervision to complete repairs in a safe and timely manner.
• Maintain housekeeping in all areas of assigned responsibility to ensure a safe, clean, and neat work environment.
• Complete paperwork and maintain maintenance records in SharePoint system.
• Adhere to company safety, environmental, quality, and personnel policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Maintenance Manager.

Candidate’s Minimum Skills And Experiences

• Must pass a Company physical
• Must have some working knowledge of CNC machines, conveyors, and general mechanical ability
• Must be able to maintain a maintenance program for all Benoit equipment
• Must have demonstrated ability to perform light welding repair and fabrication as needed for plant equipment
• Must have demonstrated ability to perform basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic maintenance troubleshooting and repair
• Must be capable of passing a standard Color Blindness Test
• Must read and sign-off to required Benoit SOPs
