Job summary

The Maintenance Person at a McDonald’s restaurant, owned and operated by an independent franchisee, assists management in achieving a clean and safe environment. Responsibilities include filtering oil fryers daily, maintaining outside grounds, cleaning equipment and windows, stocking rooms and restrooms, unloading deliveries, taking out trash, and changing light bulbs.

You will work with tools and training provided to succeed, with commitment to restaurant cleanliness and equipment upkeep.

• Unload delivery truck 2 times a week
• Take out and empty trash compactor
• Change light bulbs
• Clean HVAC/Exhaust units and roof of debris

Job description

*Starting rate for this position is $13/hr - however our current incentive allows for any employee that works between the hours of 9pm and 8am to be paid an additional $2/hr premium pay when clocked in

during those hours*

Examples:

Employee works a 5pm-12am shift

• -From 5pm-9pm they are paid their standard rate of $13/hr-From 9pm-12am they are paid their standard rate PLUS the $2/hr premium, totaling $15 per hour during that time frame

Employee works a 5am-1pm shift

• -From 5am to 8am they are paid $15/hr (their standard rate, plus the $2 premium pay)-From 8am-1pm they are paid their $13/hr standard rate

Requirements

The Maintenance Person assists management in achieving and maintaining outstanding interior and exterior restaurant cleanliness and maintaining restaurant equipment. As a member of the Maintenance Team, your restaurant will support you with the tools and training needed to succeed.

The Maintenance Person’s responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Filtering oil fryers daily
• Maintaining outside grounds
• Clean equipment, inside and outside windows, stock rooms and restrooms
• Unload delivery truck 2 times a week
• Take out and empty trash compactor
• Change light bulbs
• Clean HVAC/Exhaust units and roof of debris
