Job summary

McDonald’s Restaurants Limited is seeking a Maintenance Person to keep our restaurant clean and the equipment in top condition. You’ll support management with interior and exterior upkeep and safety by performing routine tasks and maintaining orderly work areas.

As part of the Maintenance Team you’ll receive training, a competitive starting wage of $18 per hour, and benefits including education assistance, paid time off, and a generous meal discount program.

• Ability to perform routine restaurant maintenance tasks.
• Willingness to work varied shifts and lift/move supplies.
• Capable of following safety and cleanliness protocols.

Responsibilities

• Filtering oil fryers daily.
• Maintaining outside grounds.
• Clean equipment, inside and outside windows, stock rooms and restrooms.
• Unload delivery truck 2 times a week.
• Take out and empty trash compactor.
• Change light bulbs.
• Clean HVAC/Exhaust units and roof debris.

Requirements:

The Maintenance Person assists management in achieving and maintaining outstanding interior and exterior restaurant cleanliness and maintaining restaurant equipment. As a member of the Maintenance Team, your restaurant will support you with the tools and training needed to succeed.

The Maintenance Person’s responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Filtering oil fryers daily
• Maintaining outside grounds
• Clean equipment, inside and outside windows, stock rooms and restrooms
• Unload delivery truck 2 times a week
• Take out and empty trash compactor
• Change light bulbs
• Clean HVAC/Exhaust units and roof of debris
