Job summary

Courtyard Houston Sugar Land Stafford is seeking a Maintenance Person to perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and basic upkeep across the property. You will help ensure a safe, clean, and fully functional hotel environment for guests and staff.

You will handle routine tasks, respond to maintenance requests, and assist with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work while maintaining organized tools and spaces. This role requires reliability, safety focus, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance or building repair experience preferred.
• General knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical work.
• Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable, safety focused, and team oriented.
• Ability to lift, move, climb, and work with tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine maintenance and repair tasks in guest rooms and public areas.
• Respond to guest maintenance requests and resolve issues promptly.
• Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and building systems.
• Maintain tools, storage areas, and workspaces in a clean and organized condition.
