Job summary

ECOLAB is seeking a Maintenance Planner in Fresno, TX to coordinate facilities, maintenance and calibration activities, manage spare parts, and supervise contractor teams. You will drive inventory control, KPI tracking and supplier coordination to keep operations efficient.

The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing, strong communication, and CMMS/Excel familiarity. Workweek is Mon–Thu, 6:30am–4:30pm, with compensation at $40.00 per hour and on-site duties. Benefits are provided.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan and schedule all facilities, maintenance and calibration activities.
• Coordinate outside and third-party vendors.
• Procure and manage onsite spare parts and tracking.
• Supervise maintenance tasks and contractor teams to keep workflow on track.
• Manage project-related paperwork and filing.
• Build kits for PMs, Correctives, Outages, etc.
• Perform cycle counts and manage min-max inventory levels.
• Manage spare parts inventory and track KPIs for inventory and downtime.
• Audit inventory and drive 5S/Lean practices.
• Coordinate with planners, operations and departments to define project requirements.
• Coordinate with Plant Operations to prepare resources and equipment.
• Oversee API inspections per MI Program and manage CMMS (Emaint or SAP) access.
• Lead spare parts tagging/validation and spare parts tracking.
• Resource planning and daily management of key initiatives including safety and maintenance work orders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues and manage third-party relationships.
• Plan jobs with the maintenance team and set priorities.
• Act as contact point for planned activities including preventive maintenance, facilities, shutdowns and calibration.
• Balance resource utilization and participate in weekly planning with Supply Chain and Operations.
• Monitor Maintenance KPIs and conduct field checks for planning accuracy.
• Perform change control for updates to equipment and maintenance documentation.

Job description

The main purpose of the role is to:

• Coordinate, plan and schedule all facilities, maintenance and calibration activities Coordinate outside and third-party vendors Check, Procure, & Manage onsite spare parts and tracking.
• Supervise current maintenance tasks or maintenance projects and coordinate all Contractor team members to keep workflow on track.
• Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored.
• Build kits for all job tasks (PMs, Correctives, Outage, Etc.)
• Perform cycle count of inventory and manage min-max levels
• Manage spare parts and critical parts inventory
• Manage stock parts
• Track KPIs in various levels for inventory management, spare parts, and parts affecting breakdowns and downtime
• Audit inventory and parts, and drive 5S/Lean Methodology for areas.
• Communicate with Maintenance Scheduler, Team Lead, and other Plant Stakeholders to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
• Coordinate with Plant Operations and other Departments to identify needed resources and equipment preparations
• Coordinate outside field work and supervise API Inspections as per the MI Program
• Spare parts process leader/owner. Power user and business process owner for CMMS (Emaint or SAP)
• Spare Parts outside tagging and validation with Spare Parts Tracking Sheet
• Resource planning, daily management and implementation of key initiatives including Safety, Effective Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance Work Orders, PM Work Orders, and supporting sustained levels of Autonomous Maintenance
• Working cross-functionally to resolve issues
• Working with third party vendors to acquire necessary parts and equipment to complete job
• Work with Maintenance team to plan jobs accordingly and prioritize accordingly
• Act as the contact point for planned activities including preventive maintenance, facilities, shutdowns, calibration and other activities with engineering, supply chain and operations.
• Balances resource utilization and assigns resources accordingly.
• Participate in weekly planning meetings with Supply Chain and Operations.
• Monitor and maintain Maintenance Key Performance Indicators.
• Conducts field checks to ensure accuracy of planning activities.
• Perform change control for updates to equipment and maintenance documentation.
• Other duties may be assigned

Position Details:

• Plant location: Fresno, TX
• Work week and shift: Monday - Thursday 6:30am - 4:30pm
• Compensation: $40.00 per hour

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma minimum
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing
• Good communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Team-management and leadership skills
• Documentation management and ability to use Maintenance CMMS and Microsoft Excel
• Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge and skill of eMaint web-based CMMS maintenance scheduling software.
• Familiarity with Maintenance operations and industrial equipment and parts

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $30.65 - $45.97. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
