Job summary

Ventura Foods is seeking a Maintenance Parts Clerk for 2nd shift in Saginaw, TX. The role provides administrative support to the Maintenance department, including updating MRO records and handling parts inventory.

Responsibilities include adding equipment in JDE, organizing maintenance documentation, and assisting with audits. The candidate should have a HS diploma and basic MS Office skills, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) preferred.
• Experience with MRO, inventory tracking, and purchase orders is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Add new equipment in JDE and update MRO records.
• Enter and track parts; manage bin locations and organize maintenance library.
• Conduct cycle counts and audits; generate purchase requisitions/POs as needed.

Maintenance Parts Clerk - 2nd Shift

Location: Saginaw, TX, US, 76131

Employment Type: Hourly
Shift: Second
Work Arrangement: Onsite

Position Summary:

Provide administrative assistance to the Maintenance department including, but not limited to the following items listed below.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform new equipment additions to JDE

Add requested parts into MRO. Maintain tracking tool and report

Organize Maintenance Documentation and Maintenance Library

Perform Critical Parts Audits for Lines and Equipment and adds to MRO as needed

Evaluates inventory levels, and originates purchase requisitions and/or purchase orders to vendors for parts and services as required.

Perform Work Order Time Entry as needed

Serve as a Fire Watch as needed during Hot Work

Assists Maintenance Planner with Cycle Counts. Performs Parts Organization of MRO parts. Purges out old Parts, creates and modifies Bin locations as needed.

Receive daily shippments of MRO and parts ordered into JDE / EAM system

Responsible for following all Food Safety policies, procedures and regulatory criterion including the current SQF code, Good Manufacturing Practices, and the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and associated Preventive Controls.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Previous work experience; Parts Attendant, Receiver, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)

Knowledge and Skills:

Good understanding of Ventura EAM software including, but not limited to JDE, AS400
Excellent teamwork skills
Organizational and Computer skills are a requirement.
Must be able to follow instructions and work independently.
Must have good reasoning abilities in making work-related decisions.
Must be physically able to perform the duties of the job including lifting up to 50 lbs
Requires good hand/eye coordination.
Must have excellent math skills (decimals, fractions and percentages.)
