Job summary

Messer North America, Inc. in Sacramento, CA, seeks a Maintenance Operations Tech I to maintain a safe, efficient, and reliable chemical manufacturing facility in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure reliability of the location.

Join a team focused on safety, reliability, and continuous improvement. You will use CMMS SAP, interpret P&IDs, and participate in on-call duty as needed to keep operations running

Qualifications

Basic math: algebra, fractions, percentages, unit conversion.
PC literacy and software use.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Self-driven with ability to work independently.
Mechanical aptitude with hand tools.
Awareness of chemical manufacturing hazards.

Responsibilities

Maintain safe, efficient operation of a chemical plant per regs.
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance.
Calibrate process analyzers and equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical equipment (pumps, compressors).
Operate tools and equipment for assigned tasks.
Adhere to safety policies and LOTO/MOC procedures.
