Job summary

Mission Rock Residential in Brookland, Portland, OR is seeking a Service Manager (Maintenance) to lead day-to-day maintenance operations and ensure that the property's physical condition meets the company's standards and applicable laws.

Your day-to-day includes scheduling and performing preventive maintenance, coordinating maintenance activity, directing a maintenance team, and coaching staff to uphold quality and compliance across the site.

Qualifications

• Two years of apartment maintenance experience or more is required.
• Experience at a mid-rise community is required.
• Understanding of federal fair housing laws and relevant local housing provisions.
• Ability to work within budgetary guidelines.
• Knowledge of general property repairs including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exterior structural and appliances.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, monitor and perform preventative maintenance at the property.
• Coordinate day-to-day maintenance operations of the property.
• Direct and supervise daily maintenance team activities, planning, delegating and reviewing work.
• Train and coach all maintenance team members.
