Job summary

Grafton is seeking a maintenance repairman to perform a variety of upkeep on machinery, equipment, and facilities in our North Grafton site. You will receive assignments from a foreman and work to repair and install equipment, keeping downtime to a minimum.

The role requires 4–6 years of on‑the‑job training, strong mechanical aptitude, hydraulics knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools. Excellent teamwork and safety consciousness are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires 4 to 6 years of on-the-job training.
• Good mechanical background and aptitude.
• Good knowledge of hydraulics and reading blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Receive job assignments from foreman or leader.
• Repair and maintain all machinery and equipment in Grafton.
• Install and set up machinery, equipment, and facilities.
• Rebuild hydraulic press pumps and other hydraulic units with close tolerances.
• Read and interpret complex blueprints and hydraulic diagrams.
• Use precision instruments and hand tools for maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate work with other maintenance departments to facilitate repairs.
• Operate machine tools in emergencies as needed.
