Sylvamo Corporation's Mill in Ticonderoga, NY is seeking a Maintenance Millwright Journeyman 1 to join the team. This journeyman-level role focuses on completing scheduled maintenance and supporting safety, quality and production goals.

Maintenance Millwright Journeyman 1

Sylvamo’s Ticonderoga, NY Mill is located on the shores of Lake Champlain. In operation since 1971, the mill produces high-end printing and technical papers harvested from Adirondack and Vermont forests. We employ over 600 dedicated employees focused on safety, environment, quality and production.

This is a journeyman-level millwright position responsible to complete scheduled and routine maintenance work along with performing many other duties both as part of a team and independently.

The hourly pay rate is $38.12 per hour, as of June 1, 2026

Requirements

• Minimum High School graduate or GED equivalent
• Experience as Millwright apprentice or helper, and obtained Journeyman status
• Mechanical Industrial technology degree
• Certificate from accredited college or trade school
• Willing and capable of working all shifts
