Job summary

Ahlstrom Rhinelander is seeking a Certified Journeyman Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our Rhinelander facility. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul mechanical equipment throughout the paper mill to maximize uptime and product quality.

This role requires journeyman certification, ability to read drawings and schematics, proficiency with CMMS, and a commitment to safety and OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• Journeyman-level mechanical maintenance certification.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Experience with CMMS software.
• Willingness to work overtime and shift schedule.
• Commitment to safety and PPE procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain paper mill production equipment.
• Work on pumps, piping, bearings, gearboxes, rollers and drives.
• Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems; agitators and mixers.
• Operate compressors and vacuum systems.
• Follow safety, environmental, and OSHA regulations; wear PPE.
• Identify hazards and participate in safety meetings and training.
• Support safe, efficient, and reliable mill operations.
