The Maintenance Mechanic will work with other trades to repair and maintain maintenance of all equipment and machinery in accordance with drawings, operational manuals, and manufacturer's specifications using hand and power tools and testing equipment at the Nutley Campus.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), GED equivalent programs, and/or other Vocational degrees/certificates.
• Minimum of 3 year in related work.
• Stands, walks, reaches most of the day and handles light and medium weight tools, objects and equipment, frequently moves equipment up to50 lbs., works on ladders and scaffolds.
• Changing conditions depending on job; dirt, dust, fumes, grease water, steam, refrigerants, and various Plant Operational compounds.
• Indoor and outdoor work.
• Hazards: Cuts, bruises, strains, falls.

Minimum rate of $30.92 Hourly
