Job summary

Honeywell Technologies is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic - Level 3 (Finance) to support reliability and safety of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. You will contribute to operational excellence and business success by applying advanced maintenance methods and tools.

Job Description

In this role, you will impact the reliability and safety of our manufacturing equipment and facility systems, contributing directly to operational excellence and business success.

Responsibilities

• Advanced level technician.
• Performs assignments of a general nature requiring use and application of standard maintenance methods and tools.
• Read and understand technical manuals
• Advanced understanding of diagrams, drawings.
• Advanced understanding of mechanical equipment and tools
• Advanced understanding of equipment alignment
• Advanced understanding of measuring devices like rulers, calipers, and micrometers
• Advanced understanding of assembly and disassembly of mechanical components under supervision
• Safe use of power tools including drills, grinders, etc.
• Understanding of different fasteners and their proper applications
• Advanced understanding of rigging and hoisting practices and equipment used
• Ability to identify and apply appropriate lubricants to mechanical systems
• Accountable for performing work in a safe and environmentally responsible manner and in accordance with established procedures as required due to being a Responsible Care facility

YOU MUST HAVE

• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting with exposure to automated equipment.

• 2-year technical degree or 5 years' experience in heavy industrial manufacturing
