Job summary

The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Oahu National Wildlife Refuge, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic Leader to oversee maintenance and repairs, lead a team, and ensure safe operation of facilities and equipment on the refuge. The role may require on-call work, evenings, weekends, holidays, overtime, shift work, and up to 25% overnight travel.

A government charge card is required for travel. Salary ranges from $39.74 to $46.34 per hour, with first-time hires starting at the step 1 rate.

Job description

You will serve as a Maintenance Mechanic Leader at the Oahu National Wildlife Refuge for the US Fish & Wildlife Service.

You may be required to work on-call, evenings, weekends, holidays, overtime and shift work.

You may be required to travel overnight away from home for up to 25% of this position's duties. You must obtain a government charge card for travel purposes.

Salary Range: $39.74 to $46.34 Per Hour
*First time hires to the Federal government normally start at the step 1 rate.
