Job summary

ManpowerGroup, a leading North American staffing and solutions provider, seeks a Maintenance Mechanic to support production in Commack, NY. You will repair and maintain equipment, follow diagrams and SOPs, and help ensure safe, reliable operations.

The role requires 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience, technical training, and strong troubleshooting skills. Shifts are Fri-Sun, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years of hands-on experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment.
• Technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with electrical knowledge.
• Ability to work under general supervision and respond to overtime/weekend needs.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain production equipment using hand and power tools and testing instruments.
• Proactively maintain machines to support productivity, quality, and safety targets.
• Respond to downtime calls, diagnose issues, and complete repairs to maximize uptime.
• Perform preventative maintenance and ensure guarding and equipment are in good condition.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety regulations including LOTO/OSHA.
