International Paper is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery in a 24/7 production setting. Responsibilities include installing and servicing motors, PLCs, hydraulics, and automated systems while adhering to safety standards.
The role requires a technical degree, willingness to work varying shifts, and availability for overtime. You must pass background checks and bring your own tools; plus experience in corrugated packaging or printing is a plus.

Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining equipment in an around-the-clock production environment. Duties include performing special assignments, such as, new equipment installations and performing preventive maintenance duties. Also, this position will be responsible for installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs of machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, pneumatic tools, production machines and equipment, physical structures, plumbing, hydraulic,electrical, PLCs, bearings, welding, and automated systems.
Basic Qualifications:
Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints
24/5 and/or 24/7 manufacturing operation offering seven (7) days off over a fourteen (14) day period.Shift hours 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. - OR - 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off). APPLICANTS MUST BE FLEXIBLE TO WORK EITHER SHIFT.
Pay:$32.73 - $39.86 per hour
Sign-on and Retention Bonus:$500 after 30 days, $500 after 6 months, $500 after 1 year and an additional bonus at 2 years
