Job summary

American Pacific Corporation (AMPAC) in Cedar City, UT is seeking a skilled Millwright to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, install and rebuild production equipment and machinery under minimal supervision.

The role requires journeyman-level experience in millwrighting or related trades, plus welding and fabrication skills. Ability to work shifts including weekends, and comply with ITAR and safety policies. Competitive wage with scheduled increases.

Qualifications

• Experience in millwright or mechanical trades.
• Journeyman or equivalent in Millwright, Machinist, Welding or Pipefitting.
• Sturdy mechanical aptitude and willingness to work varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, install and rebuild production equipment.
• Repair pumps, gear reducers and process equipment as needed.
• Work with PVC, fiber cast and FRP piping.
• Align rotating machinery with dial indicators or laser equipment.
• Weld and fabricate components as required.
