• Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance or electrical experience.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical blueprints.
• Ability to lay out electrical and plumbing jobs and develop material lists.
• Ability to drive tow motor.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical repairs and troubleshooting of process equipment or building systems.
• Assist in installing or modifying production and facility equipment including running pipe and conduit.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections of facility equipment; perform detail inspections with supervision.
• Perform moderate PMs and basic fabrication using welding, cutting, and pipe threading tools.
• Weld plastic tanks as required.
• Operate basic fabrication tools and equipment.

2nd Shift - 2:15pm - 10:45pm Monday - Friday

3rd Shift - 9:15pm - 5:45am Sunday - Thursday

Anoplate is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic II to perform daily Mechanical repairs and Preventive Maintenance Inspections of production and facility equipment including maintenance and project tasks. The Objective is to support and maintain smooth production operations, safety for all personnel and protection of the environment.

In This Role You Will:

• Perform basic mechanical repairs to facility equipment including simple troubleshooting of improperly functioning process equipment or building/equipment
• Assist in installing or modifying new and existing production and facility equipment as required that would include running pipe and conduit. Cleaning and maintaining equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections of the facility and facility equipment. Perform more detailed inspections with assistance.
• Perform PMs of moderate difficulty as instructed. Perform basic fabrication using welding, cutting, and pipe threading equipment.
• Perform welding of plastic tanks
• Working knowledge of basic fabrication tools and equipment

Requirements

Your skills, knowledge & abilities:

• Knowledge of maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of facility electrical and mechanical systems including heating, ventilation, chilling/cooling, compressed air, water supply and plating equipment.
• Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical blueprints.
• Ability to lay out electrical and plumbing jobs and develop required material lists.
• Ability to drive tow motor
• Ability to operate and work from ladders and manlifts.
• Ability to maintain safe, neat and orderly work and storage areas and exhibit safe, neat, clean work habits.
• Ability to communicate with coworkers, management team members, and other individuals in a courteous and professional manner.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, coworkers, and other individuals.
• Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance or electrical experience
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to comprehend both verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to give simple verbal and written instructions to others
• Ability to interact effectively with co-workers
• Ability to prepare simple written reports
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Understanding of basic maintenance functions and/or surface painting.
• Pre-employment drug testing and background screening required
