Givaudan in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a maintenance technician to perform routine repairs, preventive maintenance and installation of equipment under close supervision to minimize disruptions.

You will troubleshoot production and facility equipment, document deviations, comply with safety standards, use SAP for work orders, and participate in lean activities. This role requires 4–5 years of manufacturing experience and basic SAP/Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of environmental health and safety rules and guidelines.
• Proficient in safe use of hand tools and equipment for installation, disassembly and testing of devices.
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical abilities in welding, plumbing, pipefitting or electrical areas.
• Experience with SAP and Excel for data handling and reporting.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting and/or repairs of production and facility equipment, identifying and resolving recurring maintenance issues.
• Conduct electrical or mechanical installation, repair, and troubleshooting of motors, instrumentation and controls.
• Identify deviations and document/communicate them in compliance with SOPs.
• Work in accordance with all relevant requirements including ATEX, GMP, AIB, OSHA, HACCP, FDA, USDA and internal safety guidelines.
• Participate in lean activities.
• Maintain housekeeping, sanitation and food safety to company standards.
• Create and close work requests using Maintenance management system (SAP).
• May perform other tasks as assigned.

Pay Rate: $34/hr- $40/hr+ shift differential

Purpose

Perform routine repairs, preventive maintenance and installation of equipment under close supervision and in a timely manner to minimise disruptions of site operations.

Core Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting and/or repairs of production and facilityequipment, proactively identifying and resolving recurring maintenance issues in the assigned area of activity.
• Conduct electrical or mechanical installation, repair, and troubleshooting of motors, instrumentation and/or controls.
• Identify deviations and document/communicate them in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.
• Work in accordance with all relevant requirements including, but not limited to ATEX, GMP, AIB, OSHA, HACCP, FDA, USDA and internal safety guidelines.
• Participate in lean activities.
• Maintains level of housekeeping/sanitation/food safety and safety which meets Company’s standards and guidelines.
• Perform administrative duties including but not limited to creating and closing work requests using Maintenance management system (SAP).
• May perform other tasks as assigned.

Academic Background

• Vocational diploma in Technical engineering or related discipline (pre-university level).

Professional Experience

• Overall work experience of 4-5 years in manufacturing or plant operations.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Technical Skills

• Good knowledge of EHS rules and guidelines.
• Basic knowledge of SAP and Excel tools.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and equipment for installation, disassembly and testing of electronic, pneumatic and electrical devices.
• Good mechanical and/or electrical abilities within e.g. welding, plumbing, pipefitting or electrical areas.
