Job summary

Draeger Medical Systems, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Mech I for our Andover, MA office. You will join the facility and equipment maintenance team, performing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and grounds tasks under supervision.

You will inspect equipment routinely and perform preventative maintenance, with a focus on detail and safe operation. A high school diploma and some maintenance experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or the equivalent in education, training and experience.
• 1–3 years of related manufacturing facilities and equipment maintenance experience.
• Additional specialized trades or vocations school training is a plus.
• Physical requirements listed are considered essential functions.
• Ability to focus on details and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a variety of manufacturing plant equipment and facilities on-site.
• Perform routine electrical, plumbing, HVAC repairs and related maintenance tasks.
• Perform indoor carpentry and painting tasks as needed.
• Handle outdoor grounds maintenance, painting, and snow removal.
• Inspect and perform preventative maintenance on equipment per schedule.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
