Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, plus two years’ maintenance experience.
• Experience in carpentry, plumbing and electrical repairs preferred.
• Valid Ohio or Michigan driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to work orders submitted by tenants and staff; complete tasks timely.
• Perform carpentry repairs on walls, ceilings, doors, windows and fixtures.
• Apply paints and coatings using brushes, rollers or spray equipment.
• Repair or replace wiring, outlets and lighting; check for gas leaks.
• Repair plumbing fixtures including toilets, faucets, drains, and water heaters.
• Maintain grounds and upkeep of property exteriors and sidewalks.
• Record materials, labor hours and job codes in the work order system.
• Perform after-hours emergency maintenance as scheduled.
