Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic I to support our Rocky Mount, NC operations. You will maintain crushers, conveyors, screens and other processing equipment, aiming to maximize uptime and plant performance.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, ability to read manuals and diagrams, and experience with welding or fabrication tools, with safety and teamwork as core priorities.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose and repair industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, diagrams, and maintenance docs.
• Experience with welding, cutting, or fabrication techniques for plant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on crushers, conveyors, screens, and other processing equipment.
• Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical issues to maximize uptime and plant performance.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks and follow safety procedures.
