Job summary

Caterpillar is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in Dyer, Indiana to perform preventive and reactive maintenance on plant equipment and systems. The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and 1+ year of mechanical maintenance experience, with familiarity in hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.

Candidates should be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 35 lbs, read blueprints, work as part of a team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders as assigned by Maintenance Manager using Maintenance Work Order Database.
• Coordinate with vendors and technicians for repairs and installations.
