UFP Industries in North Carolina is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic I to perform routine preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment and tools, and assist the Maintenance Department in repairs across the plant.
Responsibilities include servicing woodworking machinery, infeed/outfeed systems, hand tools and forklifts, ordering parts, keeping maintenance records, and following safety procedures to keep the workplace clean and compliant.
Job Summary The Maintenance Mechanic I is responsible for performing basic preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and tools, and assists other members of the Maintenance Department in various machine/building repairs.
