Job summary

Rangen, LLC has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Mechanic. The role focuses on preventive maintenance and related tasks to keep facilities running at peak efficiency on a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional Saturdays and overtime when needed.

You'll partner with operations to coordinate major repairs, ensure safety and quality, and support continuous improvement across our manufacturing sites in Idaho. This hands-on position requires strong mechanical skills and a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or related field with an Associate or Technical Degree.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Understanding of lockout/tagout (LOTO) and safety protocols.
• Experience with hydraulics and manufacturing environments.
• General understanding of preventive maintenance programs.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and conduct all maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance programs to meet mechanical needs and quality standards.
• Work with location management to schedule major equipment repair.
• Respond to emergencies and provide contractor oversight.
• Ensure compliance with Food Safety, FDA and OSHA guidelines.
• Assist safety and quality teams as needed and participate in training.
• Manage equipment lists and assess new maintenance requirements.
