Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Medical Center is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance and assist with repairs, alterations, and modifications across the hospital campus. You will change light fixtures, reset breakers, install panels, and repair wiring while safely using tools and equipment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least one year of general maintenance experience, and the ability to work at varying heights.

• General maintenance knowledge and ability to troubleshoot building systems.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools and work at varying heights.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on hospital equipment, systems, and facilities.
• Install, replace, and repair finishes, furnishings, fixtures, and wiring.
• Maintain medical gas supply and coordinate reorders as needed.
• Operate tools and equipment safely to complete tasks.
• Support clean, safe, and well‑maintained environment for patients and staff.
