Job summary

Smurfit WestRock is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in Coal Center, PA to maintain and repair complex packaging equipment. You will install, start up, and shut down machinery, following OSHA safety procedures and maintaining records of maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with electrical/mechanical maintenance in manufacturing.
• Ability to work any shift and overtime.
• Knowledge of PLC programming.
• Commitment to safety and housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Install, start up and shut down equipment following safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
• Perform preventative maintenance and assist with troubleshooting.
• Maintain maintenance records and report issues.
