Job summary

The role requires ability to work with minimal supervision, maintain safety, and meet a 40-hour workweek. The ideal candidate has experience with electrical/mechanical systems, reads drawings, operates power tools, and can handle adverse conditions, including extreme temperatures and confined spaces.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
• Welding and cutting skills are required.
• Fork truck qualification is required.

• Read prints and design drawings to support maintenance work.
• Ability to operate power tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Daily housekeeping activities.
• Daily safety checks for unsafe acts and conditions.
• Work closely with production to maximize efficiency.
• Make repairs on all plant equipment.
• Fill in as breakdown technician in any department as needed.
• Promote lean manufacturing in all processes.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
