Job summary

kdc/one is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to keep production moving and drive performance. You will own equipment performance, minimize downtime, and mentor others on the floor. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys hands-on work.

You will troubleshoot and repair production equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and work with Reliability Mechanics to improve uptime. kdc/one offers a clean facility with benefits and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in an FDA-regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with conveyors, pumps, pneumatics, and drive systems.
• Knowledge of GMP and OSHA safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret SOPs, work instructions, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment to meet operational demands.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns and support maintenance needs across the facility.
• Identify equipment issues through observation and performance metrics.
• Perform preventive and periodic maintenance to maximize uptime.
• Train and coach Line Leads and Operators on equipment standards and autonomous maintenance.
• Participate in daily shift meetings to prioritize work and minimize downtime.
