Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and perform immediate preventative and corrective maintenance on production lines. You will support change-overs, interface with operations, and maintain safety and cleanliness in the work area.

The ideal candidate has 0–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to read manufacturer specifications and schematics.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• 0–5 years of industrial maintenance experience required.
• 1+ years mechanical/electrical experience preferred.
• Experience with diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventive maintenance desired.
• Experience in a high-speed industrial environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Overhaul and install new equipment.
• Rebuild and fabricate parts.
• Perform facility maintenance and maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Generate parts requests to ensure adequate inventory.
• Generate and complete work orders as assigned.
• Perform equipment change-overs and production line set ups.

Compensation: Starting pay ranges from $25.61 to $27.62 per hour, based on experience. Additional earning opportunities may include performance-based incentives, quarterly bonuses, referral bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.

• Prior diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience preferred.
• Previous experience within high-speed industrial environment.
• Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to follow manufacturers specifications and schematics.
• Programmable Logic Control (PLC) knowledge preferred.
• May be required to supply hand tools.
