Qualifications

Experience or training showing ability to perform duties in a hospital maintenance setting.

Familiarity with architectural, mechanical, and electrical systems in buildings.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair architectural, mechanical, and electrical components in buildings.
Install and repair furniture, doors, windows, baseboards, and signage.
Perform plumbing and electrical system work and routine inspections.
Construct partitions, drywall, and plaster, and patch surfaces.
Patching, painting, and maintaining storage for tools and materials.
Snow removal and use of snow plows or blowers; outdoor duties in all weather.
Read work orders, blueprints, and building codes; use and maintain shop tools.
Ensure safety with protective gear and proper handling of equipment.
