Summary

Performs a wide variety of maintenance duties to repair and maintain equipment and facilities, utilizing skills applicable to welding, materials, and maintenance/building trades.

Responsibilities & Duties

1. Install, erect, or disassemble plant equipment and machines as directed.
2. Perform electrical, piping, carpentry, painting, sheet metal work, and other maintenance tasks to ensure continuous production.
3. Conduct welding and routine machine operations as necessary.
4. Perform preventative maintenance on molding and plant equipment, including inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and reporting issues to supervisors.
5. Install water and air lines; perform minor building repairs or installations.
6. Diagnose and resolve mechanical problems on various manufacturing machines.
7. Assist in training Maintenance C associates.
8. Maintain quality and quantity standards, follow safety protocols, and adhere to company policies and regulations.
9. Detect and report improper operations, faulty equipment, defective materials, or unsafe conditions.
10. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
11. Keep daily production and other relevant records.
12. Perform other duties as required or directed.
